Kindergarten News
Week of January 25-January 29, 2016
We are so excited
for the upcoming 100th day of school on February 2nd. Keep working on those 100 Day t-shirts….we
are excited to show off at our parade at 8:15. We hope you can join us for the parade.
Thank you for sending
in the cereal boxes. Keep them
coming! We will use them to make our
Valentine’s boxes. If you have lost your
class list, let us know and we can send you another. It is time to make Valentine’s cards!
This morning in the library, the children who participated in the
Cookie Primary Reading Program (back in October) received a book in their
honor. This book is to be enjoyed at
home a week or so, and then returned.
Check out their name in the front of the book!
Today we made a tooth brushing chart.
If the children brush their teeth morning and night (and record it on
their chart!), they can return it next Monday for a magic ticket. Happy tooth brushing! If they didn’t brush this morning, they have
some catching up to do after school. ;)

Reading: We are working hard to
improve our reading skills in literacy stations and guided reading groups!
